My new Nikon Coolpix 990

I have rapidly discovered I needed a digiscoping camera to photograph more distant birds then my DSLR can handle. With the assistance of Dan Casey, and his camera/scope setup, I got my own camera!!

Notice the odd, greenish thing on the lens, that is the home-made adapter from a spice shaker lid. It fits PERFECTLY into the eyepiece of my scope!

I am planning to go and "break it in" tomorrow with gulls and other birds! Look for that post later!!!
